I grew up playing soccer but I didn’t take it seriously until I was fourteen when my high school soccer coach saw me run during the my schools track and field outing and decided to recruit me to the school team. I developed my speed, strength, control and intuition better for the next four years till I graduated high school.
During this period, I was involved in a number of tournaments involving different schools within the country and outside the country. When I arrived at the United States at the age of 18, I didn’t play soccer for the next two years until I joined the Nigerian Students Association soccer team (now officially known a SSFC) as a forward/midfielder.
I play comfortably well at a variety of positions, namely: center forward, right and left midfield, defensive midfield, and right and left back. My favorite position however is right back because I’m right footed, I’m very defensive minded but I also love to run down the flanks.
My strengths are: speed, very good balance, I can play with both feet comfortably.
